Research on Bohemian manuscripts abroad during "the long nineteenth century"

The thesis examines research in the so-called long 19th century focused on the manuscript Bohemica, along with their comparison. The research took place in Sweden and Italy. As examples, Josef Dobrovský, František Palacký, Beda Dudík and Josef Pečírka with their research of the Queen Cristina's library are closely examined. The description of individual journeys is followed by their comparison and the comparison of their outputs. The examined factors are research conditions, their main focus and the language and content of the final reports.
